What data is processed

Depending on how you use the website, the following categories of data may be processed:

  • data you provide voluntarily through the contact form: your name, email address, company or website, if provided, and the subject and content of your message;
  • technical browsing data, such as your IP address, user agent, server requests and information needed for the website’s operation and security;
  • usage data collected through Google Analytics 4, only if you give consent through the cookie banner, in aggregated and pseudonymous form;
  • any data you voluntarily share through external channels linked from the website, such as email or messaging services.

Contact form and professional enquiries

When you use the contact form, the information you enter is processed to respond to your enquiry, assess a possible project or collaboration, and handle any subsequent communications.

The legal basis is taking steps at the data subject’s request before entering into a contract and, where applicable, performing a contract, under Article 6(1)(b) GDPR.

Enquiries submitted through the form are not saved in a website database: they are sent by email, through the Controller’s mail server hosted by Netsons, to the mailbox used to manage enquiries, where they are retained.

Technical data, security and logs

The website and the systems hosting it may record technical data needed to operate the website, diagnose errors, prevent abuse and protect the infrastructure.

This processing is based on the Controller’s legitimate interest in ensuring the website’s security, integrity and proper operation, under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.

Cookies, analytics and third-party tools

The website uses technical cookies and, only with your consent, Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Limited) to collect aggregated visitor statistics. It does not use profiling or advertising cookies and does not embed external content (videos, maps or social buttons) that installs cookies.

The processing of statistical data is based on consent, under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR and Article 122 of the Italian Privacy Code. Consent is optional and may be withdrawn at any time through the “Cookie preferences” link at the bottom of the website’s pages.

Google Analytics is loaded only after you expressly consent through the banner; closing the banner or refusing consent does not affect your use of the website.

For information about the categories, purposes, duration and providers of the cookies used, see the Cookie Policy.

External services and links

The website may include links, widgets or content provided by external services, such as messaging tools, reviews, videos or other embedded content. When you interact with these services, their providers may process data in accordance with their own privacy notices.

Recipients of the data

Data may be processed, to the extent necessary, by parties providing technical or professional services to the Controller, such as:

  • hosting and infrastructure providers (Netsons, with servers in Italy);
  • email providers (Netsons, which also handles messages sent through the contact form);
  • security, maintenance and technical support providers;
  • Google Ireland Limited, for the Google Analytics 4 statistics service, only with your consent;
  • professionals and advisers, where necessary to meet administrative, tax or legal obligations.

Depending on the circumstances, these parties act as data processors or independent data controllers.

Transfers outside the European Economic Area

Some technology providers may also process data outside the European Economic Area. Where applicable, transfers take place using the mechanisms provided for by the GDPR, such as adequacy decisions, standard contractual clauses or other safeguards required by law.

Retention period

Data is retained for as long as necessary for the purposes for which it was collected.

  • contact enquiries are retained for as long as necessary to handle the enquiry and any subsequent professional follow-up;
  • data relating to contractual, administrative or tax matters is retained for the periods required by law;
  • technical and security data is retained according to operational needs and the configuration of the systems used;
  • data processed on the basis of consent is processed until consent is withdrawn or the purpose no longer applies, subject to any further legal obligations.

Providing your data

The information requested in the forms is necessary to the extent that it is needed to respond to your enquiry. Failure to provide essential information may make it impossible to handle your enquiry.

Your rights

In the cases provided for by the GDPR, you may exercise your rights to:

  • access your personal data;
  • have inaccurate data corrected;
  • have your data erased;
  • restrict processing;
  • object to processing;
  • data portability, where applicable;
  • withdraw consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.

To exercise your rights, you may write to giuseppina@pixylabs.com.

Complaints to the supervisory authority

If you believe that the processing of your personal data infringes the applicable law, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali).

Automated decision-making

The website does not make decisions based solely on automated processing that produce legal or similarly significant effects on users. The website does not use profiling or marketing tools; Google Analytics data is used only in aggregated form.
